Hi, I'm trying to figure out a way to detect if my ISP is throttling my speed. So first off I'm running Untangle in a home setup so I don't have a service contract or anything and all the apps are lite versions. I'm not coming from a networking background so please bare with me.
I know that the UI doesn't have a speed test feature but I found a snippet by googling which uses a python script on the CMD, I'm trying to figure out how to block some traffic while this runs so I can get a better idea of the speed test. I'm not really sure what the best way to do that is through CMD or what else I should do. So maybe turning off QoS and then block all traffic except ssh (so I don't lock myself out)?
Any help would be greatly appriciated
