Trying to see who would want a self hosted command center? Not the licensing, just the management. Reasons would be;
1. Command center is super slow with remote access much of the time. The proxy connection would be much faster for some of us as the overall latency would be lower.
2. Security - Rather than hosted on a public cloud where everyone has access, self hosted could be locked down with no public access. There have been way too many instances of public cloud hosted platforms getting compromised. Personally, I'll take my chances where I can have tighter control over access.
UT is paying attention and the more people who get behind this, the more likely it is to happen.
