Pasar un programa por Untangle

Soy nuevo en esto de Untangle. He leído documentación sobre el tema, pero tengo una duda. Hace un par de años puse en una empresa un OpenVPN bajo un servidor Windows Server 2012 R2 y funcionaba todo ok ya que un usuario de otro edificio se conectaba por VPN y levantaba un programa que básicamente es un viejo sistema programado en Visual FoxPro que levanta el ejecutable y consulta una base de datos.
La solución de OpenVPN se tornaba un poco engorrosa de llevar para crear/eliminar y mantener usuarios por ello es que la dejamos de lado y por el momento el usuario del sistema FoxPro se conectaba a un ordenador en desuso mediante Teamviewer y manejaba desde ahí el programa. Hace dos meses instalamos Untangle con OpenVPN para mejorar la seguridad de la red y volver a un entorno VPN; con Untangle y OpenVPN como app y la mantención de usuarios es mucho más sencilla. El tema es que el usuario se queja que el sistema Visual FoxPro le va mucho más lento que antes, incluso cuando utilizábamos OpenVPN sin Untagle.
¿Hay alguna forma de acelerar el sistema de FoxPro configurando de alguna forma el Untangle?

Good morning to all.

I'm new to this Untangle thing. I have read documentation on the subject, but I have a question. A couple of years ago I put an OpenVPN in a company under a Windows Server 2012 R2 server and everything worked ok since a user from another building connected through VPN and raised a program that is basically an old system programmed in Visual FoxPro that raises the executable and query a database.
The OpenVPN solution became a bit cumbersome to carry to create / delete and maintain users, that's why we left it aside and for the moment the FoxPro system user connected to a disused computer through Teamviewer and managed the program from there . Two months ago we installed Untangle with OpenVPN to improve network security and return to a VPN environment; with Untangle and OpenVPN as app and user maintenance is much easier. The issue is that the user complains that the Visual FoxPro system is going much slower than before, even when we used OpenVPN without Untagle.
Is there a way to speed up the FoxPro system by somehow configuring the Untangle?

Hi, Marcelo - welcome to the forums! In short, I don't know what your licensing looks like, but if you have our Bandwidth Control app, you could use it to prioritize any traffic to/from that site. We're also going to have a new VPN option (Wireguard) in an upcoming version, and so far it's testing a lot faster than OpenVPN. En resumen, no sé cómo es su licencia, pero si tiene nuestra aplicación Control de ancho de banda, puede usarla para priorizar cualquier tráfico hacia / desde ese sitio. Yo aplicaria la solucion openvpn y una vez en la red local levantaria una sesion de escritorio remoto (RDP) hacia el equipo que tiene la aplicacion foxpro y base de datos.
De esa manera tengo una conexion segura (vpn) y agil (rdp)
