Micro Edge 5.0 beta is available for preview!

Micro Edge 5 is now available for beta preview.
This release expands on the application classification by adding a dedicated screen where you can view the classifiable applications with descriptions and associated categories. You can also define rules to exclude classification for certain types of traffic. We've also added event reporting to your ETM Dashboard account so you can receive notifications related to important events.

You can either upgrade your appliance or deploy on a custom x86 appliance or VMware.
Please note that this is a beta release so it is not recommended for production deployments.

After upgrading/testing 5.0 on three of our e6 appliances that were upgraded from 4.3. We are finding that Software-defined network created wireguard tunnels no longer work or any Wireguard tunnels for that matter. We even completely removed the device from the network (from Command center / Networks), and manually remove the CCTunnel. Then rejoin the appliance to the network, select the device under software-defined networks, click the configuration button, enable the VPN access, endpoint address is automatic, and select all of the available shared subnets and save. After clicking Sync VPN Settings, a few minutes later the CCTunnel is added to the devices and the status shows connected. But no matter what I do or try I can not get traffic to pass inbound or outbound through a Wireguard vpn tunnel. Even manually creating a tunnel from the E6 to our Z20 NG-Firewall has the same results.

As soon as I revert back to version 4.3. Everything magically works. The only thing I haven't tried is doing a factory reset after the 5.0 upgrade and then trying the software-defined network setup. It's very odd because all the settings are the exact same between the versions and it should just work.

We have updated the beta release to version 2. The main fix is regarding the Centrally Managed VPN feature as noted previously in this topic. I've updated the download links in my original post.
