Adblocker not working?

Hi,

I have been experimenting with my Untangle firewall on a Z4.

When I load the NYT on my laptop connected to the Z4 I still see the big add banner at the top of the NYT websites. Also all the Google ad links in search results still work.

Meantime on my regular network (Ubiquity Unifi) with a Pihole dns filter neither of these can be seen or work.

Do I need do make some other changes or is this how poorly the adblocker works?

Ad Blocker doesn't process https traffic without SSL Inspector.

If you want to control ads, use the Web Advertisements category in Web Filter.
