Gmail link in Branding Manager

I want to make the email link a Gmail link in the Branding Manager. Do I need to edit the template? or can it be done in the config somehow?

I guess I was not completely clear. Sorry.

A mailto link opens a mail program. One can also do a http link that opens a gmail window and composes a message in gmail. Any way to do this in the branding manager?

i don't think you can do that in the webGUI.
