  • keep getting security errors

No matter how i set up the captive portal i keep getting this error
    Your connection is not private

Attackers might be trying to steal your information from 192.168.2.1 (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards).

NET::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID Back to safety Help me understand

This server could not prove that it is 192.168.2.1; its security certificate is not trusted by your computer's operating system. This may be caused by a misconfiguration or an attacker intercepting your connection.

    Proceed to 192.168.2.1 (unsafe)

its worse on cell phones, i get two different versions of the above error nessage. i have generated certificates from the firewall and selected them and it says no problems detected. what could be the problem.

This is your browser reacting to the injection of the captive page. It's supposed to do this: it's warning you that your traffic has been hijacked, which is true. You tried to reach website.com and instead got a response from ngfirewall.com (or whatever your NG Firewall's hostname is), so the browser is worried.

You can try installing the root certificate authority to your devices. Download it from Config > Administration > Certificates.
