Google backups fail

Hello, the backups to Untangle cloud are working fine but the backup to Google drive have stopped since 13 of november.

I have removed the Untangle app from Google Drive account and have disconnected the Google Drive configuration from Untangle and then re-added the connection to Untangle for Google Drive and approved the Untangle App but still does not work.

All I see in the Untangle logs is that "unknown error" for the Google backup.

Can anyone point me in the right direction of where to look or what to do?

Yes, Google has changed the API. It will be fixed in v15. https://jira.untangle.com/browse/NGFW-12711

Ok thanks, thought it was something on my side. I will wait for v15, I clicked the link provided but I do not know what log in credentials it's looking for, I tried my untangle account and the forum account, but does not seem to take either.

When can we expect v15 to come out? I'm getting a little frustrated with the fact that the connector has been broken for a good period of time which breaks both config and report backups. As we pay yearly support, I would expect this to either be a hotfix or a quick release since it's a relied upon feature.

+1 this. A patch to fix a relied upon feature is needed.

Just a small comment on this as my Google connector is also failing. I expect to see some error messages or logs in the 'Configuration backup' reports but I do not see anything, I mean no records. If nothing is wrong about my setup or configuration, I do not think that is a good thing and generally a bad practice. I would be much more relieved if I see some errors than seeing no response or reaction. I hope this gets fixed in the next version too.

It is shown in reports. Also it is fixed on v15. It's a third party connector (Google). We have no notice that the API changed.

Oh, very interesting. It is good to know we have the log capability but mine does not show anything. Any ideas why?

After recent Google data leak accident it lost my attention. Trying to avoid using their service as much as possible, so for example, stopped to sync photos to the drive. Unfortunatelly, still using a gmail, but not for so long.
