16.2.2 - Cloud Backup fails

  • 16.2.2 - Cloud Backup fails

    Had an email alert setup in case backups ever failed and I got one last night after I upgraded to 16.2.2 in the evening.

    Error is just "Error from remote server https://boxbackup.untangle.com/boxbackup/backup.php"

    Is this a known issue? Since jira isn't available to the public anymore, I can't check.

    My backup on 3-4 worked, but the backup on 3-5 didn't... A manual backup fired today doesn't work either.

    So possibly something wrong with the back end? I've been on v16.2.2 for awhile, so I don't think this is change client side.

      Yeah, it just was coincidentally right after I updated. I agree that it appears to be on the backup server side, not the Untangle appliance side. Hopefully it gets resolved soon.

        I just checked backup worked on 03/04/21, last nights backup failed. Logs show that upgrade to 16.2.2 just occurred as well.

          Sill on 16.2.0 and have had 3 failed backups (and manual backups fail too).
          I have another similar install that still works.

            There is an issue with Command Center and backups. We are currently working on the issue. It is not NGFW version specific.

                  Confirmed, was able to force a backup from my NFR, verify success in reports on the same, then find the unit in the Command Center and download the backup.
