Hi All,
I have a question about wan balancer and bandwidth amount on QoS.
this is the scenario:
WAN1 = 1gbps down - 300mbps up
WAN2 = 1gbps down - 1gbps up
WAN3 = 500mbps down - 500 mbps up
these speeds are set under QoS.
i want to assign internal internet to only use WAN3 (so i did this on wan balancer rule, no problem there.)
i want a specific server (mail server) to only use WAN2 (so i did this on wan balancer rule, no problem there)
i want another server (storage) to only use WAN1 (so i did this on wan balancer rule, no problem there)
all seems clear BUT, in wan balancer i can assign the weight of each WAN...
should i set 80 under WAN3 and all the rest 10 each so i know the one used for internal traffic will be WAN3 mostly or how does the weight calculator/algorithm work ?
can't really figure it out...
