No longer receiving Daily Reports since upgrade to 16.6.2

  • No longer receiving Daily Reports since upgrade to 16.6.2

    The reports have just stopped coming. I just tried to send a test email (using the "send mail using cloud hosted..." option), and I get the following error messages:

    When I use my GMAIL account it says
    "** [email protected] R=smarthost T=remote_smtp_smarthost: all hosts for 'gmail.com' have been failing for a long time (and retry time out not reached) Completed spool file 1pYBT5-00027V-Bc-D not found"
    When I use my domain account it says
    ** [email protected] R=smarthost T=remote_smtp_smarthost: all hosts for 'domain.com' have been failing for a long time (and retry time out not reached) Completed Spool file 1pYBXZ-0002Xn-If-D not found
    After trying all other options then returning to the "send using cloud hosted" option it is once again working.

    So how can I get my daily reports again? Any way to force one?

    Our email relay system sometimes becomes a bit overloaded with all the emails it needs to send out. That's very likely the case here and, unfortunately, there isn't anything you or your specific NG Firewall can do; it's an issue with the relay server itself. All you can do is wait it out or, if you have access to an SMTP server (such as Gmail's free one), you can use that instead.
