Why do you folks almost never provide check sums for the iso's?

      Thanks

Thank you for reporting this. We are looking into it. I will make sure checks sum are posted with the betas going forwarad.

It depends on feedback we receive during the beta period, but it's usually available through the Early Access List a few weeks after the beta. No dates are set yet.

Thanks how does early access work? Does the early access version support future updates? (I understand the beta does not allow updates to the newer version)

Most of the beta's have been upgradable in the past but they are beta. There are a bunch of threads over the years about getting on the early upgrade list. Can't find one at the moment but they are there. Try google instead of this boards search.

Once it's open, you can request that your UID(s) be placed onto the list. Those are allowed to upgrade immediately.

Yes. Early access is just that: you're able to upgrade before your 'turn' comes around. It essentially allows you to skip the line for upgrades. The version you upgrade to is the real, final version of the software; it's only the beta versions that usually cannot upgrade.

Did the run away disk usage problem get addressed with v17?

Hi! I'm on 16.6.1 and noticed that my disk usage is rising very quickly around (100 MB per hour). I've limited days to keep reports to 3 and number of log per type to keep to 1. I did a refresh of the logs and deleted all reports two days ago. Logs disk usage started at 4.3 GB. It's now at 27.3 GB. I have a 120 GB SSD. Any

We resolved a bug with reports retention in the 16.6.2 release. I believe this resolves the issue you are referring to.

Have it loaded for a Beta test looks good! Question, is Arista looking into the check sums or the not able to restore the 16.6.2 config? Will not be able to test it properly unless I can restore from my 16.6.2 backup.

If you are working with V17 beta please take a minute and comment on this issue.
Is it normal for the CPU load of a Z4 to increase as indicated below after updating to 16.6.2 and two restarts? If not then cause and resolution? Apologies if this has been asked and answered. The forum search function found nothing. Thanks... (filedata/fetch?filedataid=11545)

It would be useful to see system CPU specs and utilization data.

I had to restore a 16.5.2 backup to get the restore to work.

Let make sure I understand. You restored a 16.5.2 backup to 17.0 Beta? That does not make sense that an older backup version worked. I will wait till it is able to take my 16.6.2 backup.

There was a bug in the beta allowing the wrong backup for restoring. It will be fixed in the release.
