Connection reset by peer (WSAECONNRESET) (code=10054)

    Hi and happy New Year! My problem is when i disconect from server in log file on server i see many of these mesages:
    Sat Jan 02 22:33:36 2010 read UDPv4: Connection reset by peer (WSAECONNRESET) (code=10054)
    Sat Jan 02 22:33:36 2010 read UDPv4: Connection reset by peer (WSAECONNRESET) (code=10054)
    Sat Jan 02 22:33:36 2010 read UDPv4: Connection reset by peer (WSAECONNRESET) (code=10054)

    From another computer with same acount, when disconect from server not show this mesages. OS is Windows Xp! Thank you!

    Just create a Portfowarding....

    Setup -> network -> portfowarding

      wrong. openvpn on untangle doesn't need port forwards.

        We had the same trouble on a recently set up client and discovered that our config file was trying to use UDP instead of TCP. I set it for TCP and we connected right away.

          Untangle's OpenVPN uses UDP. That is all it uses. Also, if you're playing with configuration files, you're going to cause more issues. Untangle's UVM will override your changes in 15min. If you aren't worried about the UVM... well you're in the wrong place. These forums don't support free standing OpenVPN installations.
