  • Unable to delete policy from Policy Manager

Whenever I attempt to remove a policy that should no longer be in use, I receive the following exception.

I have no idea how to resolve this. Is there something I'm missing otherwise this seems to be a bug.

    Thanks

Name: java.lang.RuntimeException: Missing policy: 7 (Required by Firewall [68]). Cannot delete non-empty racks. (490)
Message: Missing policy: 7 (Required by Firewall [68]). Cannot delete non-empty racks.

Usually, that means there are some applications installed in that policy which must be deleted first. Based on the error message, I'm guessing there's an instance of the Firewall app in there.

If there are no apps in that policy, reach out to the Support team at [email protected] and provide them your UID from Config > About. (Make sure Support access is enabled in Config > System > Support as well.)

Hey Cokester, Go into your policy that you are trying to delete and see if there are apps in there..

Main page > Apps - TOp left click the policy you are trying to delete from the drop down see if there are any apps in there, if there is then head back to App,s then to Policy Manager then remove the apps in that policy.

Sorry Graven just giving him some visual paths.
